Two Sisters

By GillyB
I think these are two of the three sisters of Glencoe on a cold and wet October day.

Many thanks for the kind comments on my last upload .... just about getting back to some normality now.

Also thank you for taking time to look at this one.

A very well captured scene with rich colours and with the outline of the mountain tops so well defined against that threatening sky.

I think you are right on The Two Sisters . I put one up last week with the snows from last March and that may only have been 2 . Lovely rich colours and plent syrams running down presumably after much rainfall....Phil

A very atmospheric image Gilly, they are certainly very different to the Two Sisters, a landmark on Cleeve Hill close to where I live

A superb image Gill, the ribbon of water running down between the two peaks is what makes it for me.

Unfortunately for me I have three sisters and this reminds me of two of them not for the beauty mind you but more like two immoveable objects.

From the warm tones of the bracken to that of the angry menacing weather closing, fine landscape image.
