Tyne Goosanders

By KingBee
This is a huge crop of a grab shot (see Version) which I took yesterday with the X-T3/35 f2. I am impressed with my new lens' ability to resolve detail to this level; not to mention the fact that neither body nor lens sports any form of IS. The image won't stand up to much more magnification but the crop renders a perfectly useable image, albeit one which wouldn't win any prizes for content. If you're a Fuji X series owner and are looking for a very good prime (which, if you're old enough, will take you back to the days of shooting with a 50mm on your film SLR) you won't go far wrong with the 35 f2.

Many thanks to Chris for her kind UA for yesterday's upload, and the usual appreciation all round.

Exceptionally good detail and clarity, Bob.
Looks like you’re onto a winner with your new lens.

"... the crop renders a perfectly useable image." Totally agree. You even got a reflection from that distance.
