Tyneside at Newcastle.

By Tooma
January 2017, night approaching, and the temperature dropping. My first time in Newcastle for about 20 years - a lot of pleasant changes along the riverside. The bridge closest is the same, but everything else in view is new to me.

V1 is a shot from the other side of the nearest bridge showing Sage Gateshead. I reckon I could easily spend a week exploring and happily snapping in Newcastle; there seems so much to see. When I worked in the area it was long hours and no camera, so this was my first look through the lens, so to speak.

Wonderful studies. I also relate to your comment. I visited so many interesting places when I was working and even when I had a camera in my carry-on there was no time to take photographs, Like you, I'd love the opportunity to revisit some of those places with a more relaxed schedule.

An iconic view of the Tyne with the Baltic Art Centre included. When in Newcastle I like to pay it a visit. Very nice café! The evening light is giving nice reflections in the water as well.
