The sepia toning suits this almost timeless landscape beautifully, Keith: very well chosen viewpoint giving a well balanced composition and the side lighting adding some good highlights.

Good processing here Keith.
And I have every sympathy for you.
After I have walked for some while,
I feel like dropping down too.
And well done to you for taking a pic when you did drop down !!

Brings back memories of climbing this hill almost a hundred years ago with a 10x8 camera tripod and bits and pieces in a huge leather case. BlushBlushBlushBlush

One can talk all day about how wonderfully composed this stunning image is, whilst not forgetting to say that it has been captured from a clearly thought out point of view with clarity in depth, but I'm not....

It's the quality of the post processing that firstly attracted me to this image. It is has clearly been given careful consideration, and thus in turn you have manage to create a somewhat timeless classic much in the manner and style of our photographic pioneers such as Roger Fenton, Henry Fox Talbot and Ansel Adams.

Ulswater is a very special place for my Wife and I, we first went there many years ago when my Wife was expecting our first.
We returned last year to Pooley Bridge and Aira force, a truly lovely place and very well captured and presented.
Kindest Regards
