Looks like there was some good 'underlight' (if there is such a word) - the grain and the poppies are beautifully bright in contrast to that threatening sky. Carol

Oh yes, very nice indeed. If I were picky I might say the trees are a little bit featureless, but that would be fussy. Nice one!

Great sky and I love the few poppies among the wheat (or barley or whatever is it!). So much more effective than poppies in rape fields, which is mostly what I've found.

This is really beautiful. I like the red of the poppies and the colour of the wheat and the way they contrast with the stormy sky colours.
