Under the Bridge

By johnriley1uk
This is an exercise in texture and light. In the right conditions this canal bridge has a wonderful play of light and shade as the sun reflects off the water. I also love all that old brick, with all its colours and texture. It's actually very dark under the bridge so high ISO, wide apertures or shake reduction are the order of the day. There's no room on the towpath for a tripod.

Lovely and one of the benefits of being able to shoot at low speed with the X T4 now with IBS. I have just got one myself.

A great exercise on capturing an image, from this brickwork, with the low lighting conditions. The end result is very good, and keeping the notice in frame is essential, to give us scale.
