Under the old lamp

The photo was taken on HMS Gannet Chatham Dockyard. There was an old lamp hanging from the ceiling, and some old photos were on display..The light is still shinning from the old lamp; the young men who were looking at the camera were still ghostly staring at mine over an hundred years later,..Thanks for looking.

Full of atmosphere - they are both looking right at you, most intensely the one on the right. This photo has a special feel to it.

Hands from an earlier time. I enjoyed my long stay over in Southampton years ago via the Canadian Navy. SouthSea theatre, first tattoo, Great B&B friends, wonderful friendly persons. Spirits past in this imaginative image. TG
