Love them both but V1 is my favourite. It captures the textures on the walls beautifully and the lady in the background invites us to follow her.
Love V1 and for a moment I thought V2 was you know who.................
Both are beautiful, and among the best so far of the series.
What makes V1 special is the golden reflection in the floor, and the way it balances the image which could otherwise be 'top-heavy', dominated by the arches. The reflection draws the eye to the floor and then leads it up towards the figure. It also gives a sense of depth and mystery.

V1 without a shadow of a doubt. The figure and stance symbolising the mystery of the place, rather than taking over the composition, and allowing full rein to the colour and reflections.

Well 'scene' potential there, racking up all those walls and arches to create so much depth. I thought the figure was a statue to begin with, must be because her top matches the red tiles. The colours are excellent and the golden reflection on the floor helps lead you through to the figure.
TWO very good captures v1 taking it for me, the shadow on the floor plus the detail work hand in hand taking you into every part of the shot. great work Dave

No doubt an amalgam of the best parts of each version would be what you were actually seeking, but each is an excellent capture in it's own right, Dave.

No wonder you hung about here and re visited it - the intertwining arches are wonderful and the
impact of those totally opposite colours is amazing.
The reflections on the floor in V1 does give a lovely balance to the image
and the light enhancing the yellows/golds is amazing.

The overall effect is stunningly good. Whislt the colours and reflections are excellent, the intricate web of arches is what makes these images so special to me. Its as if the builder plaited them as it was built, fluid and yet solid... pure beauty. On the otherside, the lady looks as ig=f she is peeking round the corner at something she isn't supposed to be looking at, adding a sense mystery, as the viewer of this shot it peaks my interest and I'd want to know what she was looking at.
Too many words from me I suspect, but the work deserves my feelings. Terrific.

I like both of these - totally different one from the other. Love the lead in v1 and the shiny walls and floors and the reflections.
v2 is also excellent, and I like the composition here - I can actually see this one in mono in my mind's eye. Those lamps on the wall are like a couple of great eyes.
