Excellent b&w, strong lead-in, composition and perspective.
Railway arches are frequently converted to motor workshops, art galleries, cafés and retail outlets; but to block one off with a church of whatever denomination must be a first!

I quite concur with Bill... most unusual.

These are 2 fine images, Jade, though I think they could be enhanced a little further if you applied a very fine white edge to each, to separate the image from the black background..., or alternatively change the BG to a dark charcoal, just enough to give that separation.

I particularly like the low angle in V1, which really enhances the mood of empty silence.

Now THAT is creepy. Good deep blacks, and excellent contrast maintaining detail. Good to see a night-time photo; not many on EPZ.

Thank you for the suggestion on my today's upload. Mono version appearing tomorrow!

Regards.

Who actually is creepy - them or us? These both have a distinctly voyeuristic feel, we're lurking behind cover, observing, waiting. And we have the building in our sights.
I like both a lot, the use of diagonals and arches is stronger in V1 though.

Your very unusual perspective and composition really makes these look scary and dangerous. I seem to be hiding, but am I hiding from something or like Moira says more lurking and spying...creepy...well done Smile
