United Studs ( Re-Post)

By AlleyCatz
This is a re-post from last night. I had to take it down as there was an error on the shots title! Did not really want to but it was really bugging me! Thanks to all of you who voted on it before.

...Thought I would put this shot up as the country is gripping its self for football mania! Hope the England studs can preform and deliver the goods. Come on England!

Thanks for looking

Good image with spot-on detail... though I can't stand football! Good shot!

Great capture of a repeated pattern. Fantastic use of light. Works VERY nicely in B&W.
Here in the States, all of our kids play "soccer" (sorry, that's what we call it) but we know so little of the world's most popular sporting event. However, we are learning. I will be cheering for England. How could I not after seeing your post. Smile -=Walter
PS My son worked as a bartender in London at "The George and Vulture" (not the tourist one) for a six months stint and still proudly wears his "BC United" shirt.

Nice shot, with great tones. And very topical, of course. Counting down the hours til kick off now, can't wait for it to finally get under way. Hope the boys can deliver this time.

Hi Alley. I did comment on this the first time round and then suddenly it was gone. Good idea to fill the frame with the subject and a very good range of tones.

Small world, we have this very photo framed in our study centre at Glanford Park! I thought it came from a chap called Andre who works for adult ed in North Lincs but I'm guessing your the original source of it!
