Jasper87 and Mike, thanks for looking at the shot. It does have a 'heat haze' look although it was a bright but clear day and, yes, they were approaching the rise. Two large pelotons passed and this group came next. I had the camera pre-focussed quite close to get them on the crest of the rise. I use back-button focussing so the shot was simply out of focus - except the bit that was meant to be in focus - schoolboy error! I still like it - probably for the wrong reasons though and might post one in focus next!
