Glass as an inviting, welcoming window; glass as a painful barrier. We've seen a lot of this. Brilliant.

Great title for this off the wall shot, John. Or should I say; off the glass?

Yes, just how I feel at the moment, John.SadGrinGrinGrin

This I find strangely reminiscent of the 'character heads' of Franz Xaver Messerschmidt (1736-1783) although the distortions in these are symmetrical. Distorted, disturbing, and in the case of your photo there is just a hint of an unfortunate end.
A bold posting, John.

Brave girl to have the image taken - very appropriate for our current imprisonment!

I have a similar shot of a friend on a very ropey balcony in Krakow

I find this a bit disturbing, but then disturbing poses questions and makes us think which is a good thing.

Last week we had a picture of a face of a person consumed by the Vesuvius eruption in Pompeii. One certainly can distinguish some similarities here.

Very strong and contemporary dudler. Bravo

A brilliant image. A visual of what we feel can happen to any one of us if we're not careful. That is one very serious model.

Absolutely and so true.. Lockdown is a prison term evidently..

Wow! so much impact. And the image works in so many ways, not just lockdown (which is essentially over here in Portugal) but also on women being so often up against a glass wall or ceiling in life generally. Immediate UA!

Unusual but appropriate portrait for this time.

Marcel Marceau, the "art of silence" . Lockdown has been a pain but i've spoken to a few people who've quite enjoyed
the peace and quiet. They made the most of the time, catching up on domestic chores, de-cluttering, binge watching tv shows.
Saving loads of money by not travelling to work every day and not going to the shops. Every cloud etc etc.
It would be nice to get a haircut though..Smile
