Hi Ronnie, as the time passes you can have mastery on this lens too, but as this one is the beginning of a long journey with this lens then this one would do but this is not of ur standard.. Nice though...

Excellent start Ronnie, has a distinct abstract feel about it, I like it.
Nice use of a new lens, macro is harder than just clipping the lens on the camera. Great detail and I love symmetry here Ronnie.

you will have fun with this lens Ronnie took me a long time to get to grips with my own trouble is not used it for so long wonder if i still remember what i did learn (if anything) this is a good start and orchids always make for great shots good detail and texture ...keep playing as the weather is still dreich to say the least

Excellent image Ronnie. I have the Tamron 90 and it's a superb piece of glass. It also makes a wonderful portrait lens.

Beautiful shot Ronnie and right now it is the featured E2 photo. I will be interested how you like the Tamron lens as am thinking of buying one for my Canon. I have a Sigma 105m but it only fits my old Pentax. Maybe could sell that one.

I couldnt get on with the Tamron but I am sure you being you, will have more success and this image a great start
Great starting macro shot Ronnie, lovely colour hues.... The red seems to be a cheeky Tongue poking out!
I am just getting to grips with my new 55-200 Nikon lens, bit hit and miss at the moment

An exquisite close up study Ronnie, such lovely colours and detail. I have the 70 sigma macro, I must use it to take some pics of the many flowers that are out in bloom in my back garden when I next have time and the light is good.
