The butler's pantry looks comfortable, and a bit less intimidating.

Something tells me the children were not allowed in the Drawing room!

Actually the butler's pantry looked quite luxurious from some servant's quarter I have seen in other country houses. His master's painting above the fireplace, so he knows his place? Well rendered both locations with nice tones and composition.

Give me the pantry, the drawing room looks far too stiff and formal...and the chairs don't look that comfortable.Wink

Thought for one fleeting moment this was your front room Keith Wink
The Butlers' pantry looks smooch more inviting and informal, a nice warm fire and a comfy chair to relax in, I don't see me having my Nana nap in that front room despite the chaise.
