Vanellus...

Up and out very early doors yesterday morning - tide and weather looking good for the Thames Estuary, so a trip to the Shoebury sands was on for some boat photography... This is Vanellus form Portsmouth, taken in pre dawn light about half an hour before sunrise, which at this point was looking to be quite a dull affair...!!! It was also very warm for a change too...
