VAPOURER

By bricurtis
Caterpillar of the Vapourer Moth.

Used a bit of a technical set up for this.Wink
Got a stem from a plant in the garden fixed it across a flower pot to a watering can on a patio table that was lined up so that my lawn was the b/ground.

The caterpillar was on a leaf so I coaxed it onto the stem - took a series of shots of it moving along the stem then put it back amongst the shrubs. I liked this mid stride shot.

Hope you like it too - thanks for stopping by.

Great setup. I found one of these the other day but couldn't work out how to get it to stop curling up so that it was all in focus. Good idea to put it on something thin and straight, controls the point of focus perfectly.
Now if I could just find another one to try again.
