Vestigial violin

My mate Jon celebrating his 60th birthday by playing a gig for friends with his partners in musical crime, The Bones.

A good evening.

LED lighting is getting more and more popular for all sorts of gigs. The pluses include less heat and lower electricity bills, but if light levels and colours are changing, or if they are running 'white' lights that rely on an array of multicoloured LEDs in sequence, beware! The sort of shutter speed I used here can easily give banding, as blue light illuminates one part of the subject, and green another as the shutter moves across the sensor (or film: I've not had that problem, but it will be there!)

I have experienced the same with the new led-lighting John... frustrating and makes it even more difficult to get good shots without tO much noise...
Mucic keeps one young at hart! looks like he plays wit his hart and emotions! cheers to your mate Jon!

Very interesting.....makes the music easier to "see". I imagine a "blues" type song.......am I right ? probably not ! Regards Martin

The Bones do a great variety of songs, from ToTP oldies to blues.

But it's all pretty lively!
