Well and sensitively timed for a very touching moment. There's such genuine friendship and companionship in this. I like the fact that you kept back, didn't intrude.
I wish that you had stepped back a pace or gone a bit wider, to get the tops of the flags and the whole of the wreath on the right, to balance the composition, but the veterans are the important story. The few splashes of colour against an essentially grey street are effective.
I think this needs rotating a wee bit anti-clockwise, I'll do a quick Mod just for added stability.
These occasions happen so quickly, you get what pictures you can - this one is good.

A perfectly good shot of it's type. Difficult to avoid clutter in the street. This is from the standard human eye viewpoint. A bit more dramatic would be wide angle, low down on thd left looking up at the two old soldiers with the cenotaph filling the frame above and behind them.
