Victoria Bridge

By DicksPics
An image taken today from the banks of the River Severn, downstream from the lovely Shropshire village of Arley.

The locomotive 'Erlestoke Manor' can be seen drawing a train from Bridgnorth towards Kidderminster.

The version is a crop of the lead image.

My recent absence from EPZ is a result of my wife and I sitting on a settee at M&S which, in turn, led to a major refurbishment of our lounge!SmileSmile

Many thanks for all votes and comments on my 'This Way to Arlington Court' upload and, especially, to Jeff(kojack) and Ade(ade123) for their much appreciated User Awards.SmileSmile

I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Two super captures of this magnificent old bridge, and the steam loco crossing it too Smile Looking on Google maps, think I must have crossed this bridge when I went on the Severn Valley Railway from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster back in 2015.
Glad you managed to get your bum off your new sofa to show us this, Richard... BlushBlush

Last again.

The first image for me. the crop is too close and does not tell the story. 10/10 for clarity though.

Nice one.

Isn't that a wonderful viewpoint Richard, the Victoria bridge, all its history to see and read in V1, with 'Erlestoke Manor' pulling some vintage carriages too, lovely photography...
Hope you collected your "Nicker" points from M&S.....Wink
