I was planning on getting the 1Ds but after saving for ages and not even getting close to the almost 5k required, I decided to get the 5D ;0)

For landscapes, there is not much of a difference between the 1Ds and the 5d. The lens is more important. I'm considering getting the 16-35 myself.
