VIETNAM 2013 #103

The Mekong Delta region is crisscrossed by very wide rivers, tributaries of the Mekong as well as lots of waterways. There are many bridges, some of them are wide enough and can be crossed by cars and lorries while others are just for pedestrians, bicycles and motorbikes.

As you can see in V1 this bridge is not for the fainthearted as there is nothing either side of the bridge stopping you from falling in to the water. Tomorrow, you’ll see a very “extreme” bridge.

Well captured, Jean-Noel, and the yellow clad figure is so well placed.

Its a very fragile construction with no handrails like you say in V1, but V2 at least does have handrails. I wonder how well these bridges stand up to a storm. Two interesting images, i am looking forward to your next shot

Another potentially treacherous crossing particularly in bad weather, however this one looks slightly easier to negotiate than the previous one!
