VIETNAM 2013 #95

By JN_CHATELAIN_PHOTOGRAPHY
For a Westerner, the working conditions seem pretty poor: the workshop was untidy, hot, and dim and the workers sit on the floor. However, for them, its the same as at home: sitting on the floor for eating and chatting to family and friends is the norm.

I have visited many houses in hamlets and villages in various parts of Vietnam where people have no furniture. Its different in towns as people have more money and have left the traditional way of living behind.
