At the top of Castel Sant' Angelo, showing the statue by Flemish sculptor Peter Anton von Verschaffelt, which replaced the original statue of Archangel St. Michael - see my earlier upload 'Inside the Castle' , and views from the top. And yes, I know there's wide angle distortion in V2, but to correct it I would have lost too much at the sides! Sad
V2: St Peters, Tiber, Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II & Ponte Principe Amedeo Savoia Aosta
V3: A closer view of Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II & Ponte Principe Amedeo Savoia Aosta
V4 & V5: Ponte Sant' Angelo
Only a couple of more uploads before I jet off to Llandudno for Christmas! Grin

Single Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw, tweaked in Photomatix Pro and Photoshop Elements 11.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

A marvellous set documenting the city from the top of the Castel, Trev: despite the distortion in V 2, I think it's my favourite, showing so much of the buildings along this stretch of the river and their relationship geographically.
And I love the telephoto in V 5 looking down on the sight see-ers in V 5.

Fantastic views, Trev, with V.2 being my choice for a vote, closely followed by V.4. All superb compositions and well presented. Carol

An excellent viewpoint of the city, Trev, couldn't possibly choose a favourite as they are all different and work together as a fine set.

Another good set, Trev, V2 my second choice after V5 (I like aerial views of bridges, especially pedestrian ones) but all are interesting and informative.

Another wonderfully composed and captured set of photographs Trev, so much so that I feel that I have been to this wonderful destination and explored and photographed alongside you. GrinGrinGrin Photograph Number Two being my chosen favourite for today.

Fascinating documentary set Trev. I'm always slightly envious of people who are able to jet off and go places - I am eternally happy to be off the plane when I get to Norway, and the rest of the year I just simply want to stay in place.

Enjoy Llandudno (you do mean in Wales, correct?)

Amazing set Trev, I like the distortion in V2 but V5 takes it for me! Full of life and colours.

All great, Trev, but V5 appeals very much, so unusual.

A great set, V2 is my fav. Interesting to see, how different the choices are - proves that it is a great set, from top to bottom.
