It took me a long time to grow the cobwebs, not so long to consume the wine Wink

The lamp is mine, currently in use in my lounge, all the other bits and bobs are from my large collection of stuff.
The Spider was there, so I left it.
The light was difficult to contend with, as it was from the front. Textures can be seen through glass so had to be a little mindful there.
Another "ironing board" image Wink

Taken in daylight.
An HDR image, 5 frames each one stop apart, combined in Lightroom, finished in Photoshop.

Thanks for dropping by.

It's your lighting that does it. It might originally be "across the board" (ha ha, get it?GrinGrinGrin) but I think you play with it afterwards. Blush I am not convinced by the wine Blush. The colour looks a little pale to me, not that I am any expert on wine (give me a g and t or a beer and that's something else!). I am so pleased you are getting back into your photography.
You won't be surprised that I look very closely at your images and examined your previous heleniums before starting out on my last venture. Your Ruby Tuesday from a while ago is just fabulous. I'm going to buy some.
