Digital cameras have come a long way over the years. The series of photos were taken over 10 years ago with my very first digital camera. The Casio QV100. The resolution was not even one mega pixel at a puny 640x480. With that much quality film had nothing to worry about.
ABOUT THESE PHOTOS:
The car is a 1977 Porsche Turbo Carrera. The owner is my 76 year old, fighter pilot turned trauma surgeon, uncle. When ever I visit him in the San Francisco Bay area, a romp in the Turbo is a must. Northern California is the perfect place for a scenic drive and on this particular day I though I would try out a photo shoot with my new digital wonder. I used these images in an exotic car website I used to have years ago. I remember during that visit, it rained all week long. I felt guilty about taking the perfectly detailed Turbo out in the elements, but my uncle reminded me that it could be washed again.
I usually say "Please View Large" here......but at 640x480, I don't think it it will make much difference. The photos are as they came from the camera except for the border.
I'm running out the door right now to start my 500 mile trip to North Carolina. I was supposed to have left yesterday but I had to go to work. This will be a very quick trip. I am going to my Grandmother's funeral, which is tomorrow and will be back on the road headed home on Wednesday.
Thank you for you comments and support.
