Quote:A fine shot, Alan, with the right shutter speed for sharpness, and a pleasing blur on the prop, which I think looks better than a solid prop; more like how our eyes see it.
Hello there many thanks for the comment,,yes prop blur is always a challenge ! l have battled for ages with it.. 320 sec f6/7 iso 200 seems now to work for me on a reasonable bright day...Best Wishes ALAN

Quote:@ af1 - You got me thinking, Alan - HDR mode gives various aperture settings, so it would be good if we had a similar setting for shutter speeds, or is it actually available on some cameras. It will likely be a first on a smart-phone! So many good cameras on cell-phones now.
Hello again l have Pentax Dslr cameras and they do have a HDR feature built in ...but l use Affinity Photo from Serif software which has a good HDR setting and selective colour adjustment settings...However there are several free HDR software on the the web.(on one1 from FX) or Photomatix the trouble l find for some shots you can overdo this feature depending on subjects but great fun to experiment with with pleasing results many a crap photo l have managed to save..Best Wishes ALAN keep in touch let us know how you go...
