Vole's Bad Hair Day

By teocali
Following yesterday's upload showing this Common Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) disembowelling its prey and discarding the entrails, it then proceeded to meticulously pluck and discard the fur from the Vole. It was so intent on what is was doing, that I was able to creep a little closer. A wonderful insight into nature in the raw! This was taken from 45.7m away.

Thank you for your C&Cs on yesterdays grisly shot - much appreciated as always Smile
