This is the best composed, and the most moving, image of the memorial that I have seen. The figures and the horizon are perfectly placed in the frame. Distance, longing, regrets...

Good to see this memorial, Phil. A well taken, emotive shot.

I had a look round the Eyemouth museum a few years ago, I think it was opened as a memorial to the poor fishermen who lost their lives.

I like the way you have composed this, Philip, it works so well and nicely conveys its meaning.

an image that arouses sentiments.. like what Moira said - distance, longing, regrets..
but for me it is a joyful image.. and it is all about those three kids.. they dominate the scene in this viewer's eyes.. and they are rather teasing, tugging at the elbows.. they look demanding..
