Waiting waiting waiting....

Briefly in Terminal 5 Heathrow and took this. Didn't have much time there but it looked a fantastic place to spend a couple of hours with your camera. Well worth a visit for those nearby. Sadly I'm 136 miles away.

Fine for the photographer, I'm certain, but not the sort of place to be held up overnight because of a flight delay!
This is a very telling image that expresses perfectly the soullessness of air terminals, the impersonality of the flight 'experience'... I keep scrolling back up to study the body language ... ...Sorry for the rant, I love travelling really!
I wonder if this would work in b/w?

i like this sort of image, the juxtaposition of the figures is super with the lh fella on the phone, the one with the sign and the central figure travelling, it hangs together and tells the story, i could be tempted to crop the overhead signs out but great shot

Hi Bill. Yep, it is a sort of souless place but in a strange way that's what makes it so interesting to photograph. The modern lines of the structure, wide open spaces, people traffic of all cultures. I loved it. As for B/W, possibly my next upload.

Thanks for the crop advice Phil, I'll take a look at this with the mono version. I also like this type of photography but it does bomb on this site unless it's really exceptional.

lovely, G2 territory, take the G2 and the 2.8 21mm and 2.0 35mm with you and spend a day there. Do you still use it?

Hi Bert. Yes I still use it but I haven't had the time lately and it's much easier and quicker to process the digital. I look at it every day though and know I'm missing out. I see you have mastered your M6. Bryan

I like the way he looks out into nothingness, excellent shot Bryan.. Have you tried it in mono?
