Hello again. Obviously taken at the same time as the two previous uploads. The settings are the same, some Exif is showing up slightly differently each time but I suspect that that may be an error in the site's reading of the data.
Again, this is good but could have been better with a bit more control over settings.
This one really supports what I said on yesterday's: you didn't need to use the full extent of your zoom, a bit more space would be good and would avoid clipping the ends of the wings.
And 1/250 second wasn't really fast enough to hold that focal length steadily. In this case, it looks as though 1/500, even 1/1000 second, (with higher ISO), would still have given very satisfying motion blur in those wings.
Plus my question yesterday:
Quote:Using auto focus what do you see? Is the camera allowing you to focus on one precise point or is it showing a pattern of a number of points? I suspect the latter... You do need to use a single point.

A bolder crfop and the building in the background isn't at a crokked angle but the same feedback applies that was provided in your last two uploads.
From your description this bird makes a regular appearance so the thing to do now is get back in position taking into account the advice given and post your results.
