Wakefield Waterfront

By DK121
Taken from Hebble Wharf in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, looking down the Calder Navigation with the Hepworth Gallery just out of sight.

Not much processing, a small amount of tone mapping to bring out a little detail and the shadows (the colour is essentially correct) and a small crop and sharpen.

Taken on a Nikon D80 and 18-135mm, Manfrotto XPRO B.

A really nice low light image, with some nice reflections and building details on the right. Maybe selectively reduce the highlights on the building to the left?

Very well done!

Thanks Alf,

Yeh possibly if I were to go back and re-process that would be the place to hit. It's quite an old shot so I can't quite remember whether there is colour data available there (it isn't a 100% perfect exposure) - but might be worth a look!

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment.
