Just those few pixels between the raised foot and its shadow make all the difference. But I don't think you've fiddled that.

That was sheer luck, Moira - my timing isn't good enough to be doing that on purpose.

No - it's elsewhere. Or everywhere...

The full frame, with the doors and all woudl be a dead giveaway. There's a clue...

I was going to say you had cloned the dangley bit from his bag...as it is in the shadow but I cant see the real dangley bit .

Something to do with the open door for more light?

A very well composed and presented image John, but I'm not clever enough to spot what you've worked on it. Mind you, it could be because you've done such a good job on it Wink

You've turned the windows into dominoes. Because it's a pizza place. Anyway, I like the bit of space between his raised foot and its shadow.

And the answer is...

The wording is on the glass panels above the door, readable looking out from the inside. The shadows on the floor are therefore reversed - mirror image writing.

Consequently, to get the shadows reading right way round (although still upside down), I flopped hte picture horizontally. The pedestrian was, originally, walking out of frame on the left.

When you write it down, it looks quite odd - but try it if you doubt me!
