Warming Up

By kel55
Another shot from an early start at St marys lighthouse , me and the brother in law (almiles) had a couple of mornings to try and get some sunrise shots which have went down well on the site , big thanks to all that have voted and commented , also big thanks to Al who is the inspiration to most of the good things i achieve in photography , probably would have never gotten up at such a crazy hour without him , cheers for taking a look . Kel.

A breathtaking lowlight composition with lots to admire and take in,. The sumptuous colour and warming light add to the appeal of this magical place.

Looks great with the water spilling over the rocks and the contrast is really well managed. Those were a great set of rocks you picked to work with, it's a totally different image to the first one from there you uploaded. I really like how you caught the reflection of the lighthouse in the water which helps lead the eye across. As for inspiration, don't you remember it was you who tapped me on the shoulder to get off the jetty and back onto the steps for those great long exposures we shot?!! Grin
