DIY Tip - blunt the end of your tripod legs then they won't split the ground when you bang them in. Wink

What do you expect? Football is this nations religion and is more important that government or food.

If they had left it there the hooligans would burn it.

Nice shot BTW.

Nice one Andy. I remember this ship when it used to be in dock at Hartlepool.
Nice to see the old gal again,
.....something about the Bishop said to the actress.

This image brings back fond memories I remember when when it was towed into Hartlepool as a floating hull, no masts, superstucture, guns next to nothing above the waterline. Also remember when after its refurbishment it floated out on its way to Portsmouth which is the proper place for it ,with all the towns naval history.
Nice work Andy

Thank you.
Not all the Navy Base is going well not yet.
from what Ive been told the base is to be down sized so it will only be a matter of time before that becomes a shopping mall.

It's a great story! An innovative and imaginative football stadium to be developed on the waterfront. The Warrior will/may be relocated---so what's the problem?

Even better - it's now NOT being built on the waterfront, as the Navy says it's too dangerous.
