I like both, but the strange thing is, although I usually prefer the improved impact of a cropped image, I prefer V2 here, and it's probably because he is gazing so intently into the empty space and I feel that space is necessary.

Both good pictures, I think that vers.1 just takes it because of the greater impact of the closer view.

I'm going to be really awkward here, I think there is a middle ground between V1 and V2. his stick is out the image on V1 and this is a vital part of him. Whereas in V2 there is not quite enough of his character that you show in V1 ..no answers really for this just my thoughts Smile
