This image depicting a 2nd World War Royal Navy Seaman on watch with binoculars in hand staring across the valley below into Chatham, was captured just a couple of days ago at the Naval Memorial just as the sun was beginning to go down. It's not often that I get to visit the Naval Memorial which overlooks the Medway towns, however it was such a warm and bright evening, I couldn't resist the temptation. The Naval memorial is a great place to visit and take time out in order to contemplate, and remember those who have fallen long before their years. This particular evening provided me with the opportunity to capture a a select batch of emotive and meaningful images, this being just one.
