Water and Electricity

By ade_mcfade
We're always taught that water and electricity should not be mixed, fair dos - you live longer that way

But how about compositionally?

I think Ideally I'd have a lovely big tree or something on the horizon for a nice focal point, get the water channel to lead the eye to it o0r something.

but being West Yorkshire and not the pretty northern bit, we've got pylons cominog out of our ears, so there you go - 3 of the things Smile

This works well. Pylons are hard to get a decent shot of but this works.

Still leads the eye around the image Adrian. Mans intrusion upon the landscape. Ron.

It's a fine composition, Ade - the green banks are a striking feature. Actually, you have the tree there already. It may not be as large as you might have liked but the course of the water leads the eye to a "full stop" of a tree a short distance from the centre pylon.

Nice comp and sky Ade - don't mind pylons, I think they can look quite impressive sometimes and they are part of the landscape.

Mark.
