Water baby

By kearney11
This has been a photo inspired by Sam Taylor-Woods photography that shows her suspended from balloons and in positions that seem to show personal struggle.
I wanted to show similar angled poses but take the photos underwater.
The pose in this image reminds me of a foetus like position, and makes the character seem very vulnerable and helpless.
As with all of this shoot, the tiles are quite distracting for the image, and the strange toy camera like colour scheme is due to artist inspiration from Anna Gaskell for my AS Photography unit.
Constructive feedback welcomed

In this whispy light and floating fantasy, you have succeeded way more than you may realize. This image has a beautiful quality of dreamland fantasy. Not an easy condition to state so well as you have here.

The total grace of the flowing fabric and hair with delicate fingers extended works beautifully.

You thought the tiles distracted. Not at all, my friend. They give a much needed reference for the flowing forms. The contrast is brilliant!

This is a formula for an unlimited supply of excellent images, limited only by your imagination. TG

Thankyou very much! It was inspired by the dream interpretation of the Alice In Wonderland novel and i think it has well captured the vulnerability of the subject. Thanks for your feedback, I'll be sure to upload more of the set soon!
