Water magnet

By Vpics
Ok, so maybe you're not bored of these just yet Smile so i'll keep posting them for now!
Another shot taken with the MPE 65mm taken at around x2.5 magnification and cropped to 70% of full frame.
This was taken at 9.00am when there was still a lot of dew left on the grass.
These beetles seem to act like water magnets and as this one crawled along the grass stem he collected the next drop in line and then struggled against the water tension until he reached the next drop which added enough weight to make the droplet fall and lighten his load.

Many thanks to all who have voted and left comments on my previous upload.

Vic.

Amazing macro feature, Vic. I'm pleased I'm the one to make this a long overdue RC.
