What a remarkable shot. Know these little guys are in sharp decline, so even more impressive that you managed to capture such a superb image of one.

Enjoyed viewing this upload Ray and very nicely framed with the main point of interest (The Water Vole) placed on the top LH third - adds power to the picture. Feel you captured the subject and habitat superbly here and makes for a good camera club natural history competition entry. In reply to your past call's for constructive critique - just in case you get a grumpy camera club judge on the evening I would personally clone out the bright bit of the sky refection on the bottom right of the frame to play safe because it could be discribed as a distraction. Not an easy one - but a well captured shot viewed here. Smashing.

Dave.
