Water Vole (Arvicola amphibius)

By Ray42
Many thanks for the comments and clicks on the Chaffinch - as always very much appreciated. I have just finished my roaming around West Sussex and now have the job of going through quite a few pictures. It will keep me out of mischief.
I thought I would upload a picture from yesterdays shoot of this little fellow who kept me enthralled for a while. Please view large (he didnt clean his teeth nuaghty boy) and as always harsh constructive critique as always is very welcome - I think I am just beginning to learn.
Very little done in the processing except a crop on V1 (none on V2) and borders, etc
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did taking it

Well done Ray, these are really rare critters I believe, so to see one is a privilege but to photograph an added bonus.

Two great shots Ray, showing him in his natural habitat.
v1 looks as though he's got his beady eye on you, and he's ready to duck back indoors!

Hi Ray, he's a cute little fellow and the natural setting is wonderful, have done a mod for you, just selected the Vole only and added a little more sharpening, there are other things that could be done but thought I would keep to the basics for now, well done mate, you are coming along fine Wink
