Watermen's

Friday night after driving down to Rock Hall and settling in on "our" boat, we will go to dinner at one of the three restaurants in Rock Hall, this one right on the water. Often boats pull up and dock to get out for dinner, and then leave. I usually bring a camera to dinner....just for photos like this one. A not very shy Great Blue hanging out a bit after dark. Watermen's is a seafood restaurant, with a large outside seating area, and often bands on weekends. If you order blue crab (with of course Maryland Old Bay Seasoning), they put brown paper down on the table...and bring a tray of crabs. They also have perhaps the best crab cake on the Bay, as well, and really good Rockfish, a Chesapeake specialty..

Your dinner out sounds mouth watering ....my wife's favourite sea food meal is crab . Mine is fresh caught shrimp and scallop .
