Very much agree about the excellent composition and the movement in the water ...really nice!

Not too sure about the sky area which looks very odd on my monitor, I would be tempted to crop out this area.

I will apologise now as I am not sure I am seeing what everyone else seems to be seeing on this shot.

Without trying to dismiss this out of hand I will try to make my comments as constructive as I can.

For me the composition feels like it's shot from a standard location [like a public footpath] and therefore comes across as an everyday scene, rather than a shot that you've put your 'stamp' on and taken time to explore the opportunities. For this reason I much prefer 'WATERWHEEL 2' for the lower angle, it feels more considered to me.

The processing on the shot is too 'over the top' for me. I can appreciate that this might be what you were trying to achieve ... if so, then it doesn't work [for me] unlike those above. The grey nature combined with halos and artefacts in the sky lets this down no end - more time is needed here to resolve these issues. The overall effect of the tone-mapping is too heavy handed for my tastes too and makes the end result look artificial and rushed.

On the positive side I like the length of exposure chosen to accentuate the water movement, but again there are those on here who don't like soft, milky water so I suppose you can't win them all.

Just my opinion though!!!
love the different colors in this shot.
