Nicely framed. You've done well for a dull day. I feel it needs better lighting to bring it out though.

Thanks Steve. Well, I wasn't too cold myself, Steve, and that's the important thing - after all, I was holding the camera. Grin

A great capture Eric . I know how difficult it is to get a good picture of them . Matt was a windsurfer for about 10 years .I have photographed him in Southampton , Poole and Greece doing the same thing. Must dig one out one of these days x

Thanks Mavis, the marine walk is a good platform to get them from at West Kirby, and they seem to be out most afternoons, even in the depths of winter. Not my usual subject, but it's always good to expand one's horizons, as I always say when looking at my stomach. Look foreward to seeing your own shots. Smile

You've really captured the dedication of the sportsman here Eric. There's no doubt about the weather conditions as the cold greyness comes through strongly. I like the movement in the water around the board - has he just turned? The shot would probably have more impact in better lighting conditions, but the mood would be completely different. Well done for getting out there and doing the business. Good work.

Cheers Steve, it was good to try a different type of photography, the shutter speed priority of this kind of subject set me new challenges which I enjoyed attempting to meet. Smile
