Way Out West IV

By RobboB
Taken again from one of my favourite spots for seascapes on the Scillies: A place called Newman's Battery on the western side of St Mary's facing west. In the distance (top middle) are the twin hills of the Island of Samson, once inhabited but now no longer. To the right of those are Bryher and Tresco This is a 3 shot HDR.

Superb composition. I think I prefer this to yesterday's, you've moved slightly to the right so the rocks are distributed more satisfyingly across the frame.

Although I'm not a fan of HDR, this is a very nice example, well composed.

Oo - nice mono - it works really well for this - brings out the rock textures. Well taken.

Good foreground details in this, well processed - as a suggestion have you look at a crop in from the top to just above the far mountains.

Excellent in black and white. The HDR looks very natural.
