We're not supposed to photograph the sun but...

... it was so unusual this morning I couldn't help myself! I've taken loads and haven't had time to go through them, but wanted to share one now. Hope you like it, did you see it yourself? I wonder what the sunset will bring!?!

An eerie sun, indeed - I wish I had had my camera with me this morning to take a similar photo!

It was eerie! Apparently it was caused by the Ophelia storm that stirred up sands from the Sahara and the smoke from the wildfires in Spain which in turn scatters the blue light from the sun letting more red light through.

No sun down here, but an eerie sky. Very dark with an orange hue. Hope its not a bad omen.
