Well taken and presented, the only critique I would make is that there is a green cast in the flesh tones. I would adjusted the hues then the levels for the greens.

Quite nicely done but I really don't think those vertical lines add anything to the photo. But it's a nice idea to keep the Thank You part on a blurred background. I have uploaded a mod for you in which i have got rid of the lines, removed some of the space between the blurred part and the bride and endeavoured to reduce the greenish cast on the couple's skin.

What a lovely thank you card Smile I think I prefer your version to the mod, personally - the lines make a nice frame around the couple. The only thing I can offer for critique is perhaps to change the 'y' of 'you' to a capital. At the moment the writing looks wonky, even though it's not. A capital 'y' might just level it out a bit.

But apart from that, I like this! Grin

Excellent John, I think it works very well and what a great shot of the newly married couple.
May have made the "Y" in you a capital to balance the lettering.
Give them both ours best wishes for the future....

Thank you all for your encouragement, feedback, comments and suggestions.

I knew the Lettering was not quite right but could not put my finger on it - the capital Y is the answer!

I think I prefer the the lines - it somehow seems to frame the image, but I really appreciate having alternatives to look at.

Also I do struggle trying to get good flesh tones, so knowing that it was a green tint really helps.

Thanks again for all your input!!

I like the idea of the different blurred sections but I think that the tree trunk behind the good lady's head is a bit of a distraction. Therefore if you'd continued the blur into the main part of the image it would have helped to make them both stand out more from the trunk.

I tried to make a modification to show you but the limits set by the system make the mage a bit small, I hope you can see what I meant.

Dave - I agree with the tree trunk being a distraction - next time I will be more careful - it was my first wedding and the pressure was far more than i was prepared for.

I might work on the trunk and try blurring it - your mod definitely is an improvement.
