Wedge Tailed Eagle

Australias largest bird of prey can weigh up to 5kg (2 1/2lbs) and have a wingspan of 2.3metres (7 1/2ft)
They mate for life and live in their same territory for life as well.
Their food sources are mammals,reptiles, birds and carrion. They mainly live on rabbits but sometimes take lambs possums and small wallabies. Their hooked beaks are strong enough to crush bones.
