Wednesday Morning Update to Around the Statue of Sir John A MacDonald and Gore Park of Hamilton, ON # 1 - 4

By TimothyDMorton
First thank you for your comments and votes, while surfing on the 10TH June I came across the following about the statue at.

And this past weekend on the 5TH June 2021 the Hamilton Spectator the native population of Canada wants the Statue of Sir John A MacDonald taken down for his involvement in the creation of Residential Schools run by Roman Catholic Church as they beat students along with them forced to learn either English or French and thus took away their cultural roots.

With this being the case, I went down on the morning of 9TH June 2021 and took a series of images of the Statue and material scrounging the statue including marks etc and they do not wish to be mentioned he created the Dominion of Canada along with creating a railroad.

As this capture was shot in RAW, I opened the file in Camera-in-the-RAW in my edition of Adobe Photoshop Elements where I confirmed the colour balance and tint, and then opened in Adobe Photoshop Elements where I re-sized to 687 x 1000 px and saved in JPEG for sharing one all.

The image features one the two canons, a wreath, and Sir John a Macdonald Statue

A fine composition Tim,
Fred.
A lovely image Timothy and a hint of blue in the sky. The link to the history of the statue is very informative. Let's hope it stays unmolested.

Mike
