Very interesting - quite a number of unlikely buildings, for strictly non-seagoing purposes, were modelled on liners in the 1930s, it was terribly fashionable. There's a pair of semis in an ordinary residential street on the outskirts of Newcastle that look as though they could sail away any time. It's not a period I care for a lot, but it's good to see it's being preserved.

Hi Matt, good one, it does look very clean and clinical but it doesn't do ocean liner for me. It's certainly a pleasant place to work and you've captured it well, the perspective is rather good. There are a lot of 'chemical' plants in the US that are like this, perhaps the architectural influences of the twenties were still being felt in 1934. Anyway, it's a good shot and not a bad place to spend your days. helen x
